นายสุพจน์ ชัยวัฒน์ศิริกุล กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท ไอคอนสยาม จำกัด กล่าวว่า ไอคอนสยาม ภายใต้การร่วมทุนของกลุ่มสยามพิวรรธน์ เครือเจริญโภคภัณฑ์ (CP) และ แมกโนเลีย ควอลิตี้ ดีเวล็อปเม้นต์ (MQDC) มุ่งมั่นในการเป็น Destination ระดับโลกที่สามารถดึงดูดให้ผู้คนทั่วโลกที่มาเยี่ยมชมให้หลงรักและประทับใจประเทศไทยมากยิ่งขึ้น และทำให้ประเทศไทยเป็นจุดหมายปลายทางที่ผู้คนทั่วโลกต่างอยากมาเยือน เราจึงให้ความสำคัญกับการสืบสานวัฒนธรรมประเพณีต่างๆ มาโดยตลอด
“ปีนี้เป็นปีที่สำคัญมากสำหรับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างไทยและจีน ฉลองครบรอบ 50 ปีความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูต ไอคอนสยามร่วมกับพันธมิตร จัดนิทรรศการแสดงผลงานประติมากรรมระดับครู ภายใต้ชื่อ “Lancang to ChaoPraya” ถ่ายทอดวัฒนธรรมความเชื่อจากแม่น้ำจีนสู่เจ้าพระยา เพื่อร่วมเฉลิมฉลองวาระครบรอบ 50 ปีการสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างประเทศไทยกับสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน พร้อมแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมไทย – จีนผ่านงานนิทรรศการระดับโลก ตั้งแต่ 15 มกราคม – 28 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 ณ ริเวอร์ พาร์ค ไอคอนสยาม โดยนิทรรศการในครั้งนี้จัดแสดงผลงานประติมากรรมมาสเตอร์พีช Chubby woman with Dragon & Naga โดยความร่วมมือครั้งแรกระหว่าง ศิลปินแห่งชาติของไทย ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณปรีชา เถาทอง และศิลปินจีนระดับเฟิร์สคลาสชื่อดัง มร.ซู หวงเฟย รังสรรค์เป็นผลงานที่แสดงถึงความเชื่อมโยงของทั้งสองประเทศให้ใกล้ชิดกันมากขึ้น เป็นการแลกเปลี่ยนทางวัฒนธรรมระหว่างจีนและไทยอย่างสมบูรณ์”

“ไอคอนสยามทุ่มงบกว่า 150 ล้านบาท จัดงานฉลองในสองวาระสำคัญ ประเดิมไตรมาสแรกกับงานครบรอบ 50 ปีความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทยจีน และฉลองเทศกาลตรุษจีน ซึ่งคาดว่าจะมีผู้เข้าร่วมงานประมาณ 2 ล้านคน ตลอด 10 วันของการจัดงาน ตั้งเป้าสร้างเงินสะพัดจากการจับจ่ายหมุนเวียนภายในศูนย์การค้าเพิ่มขึ้น 20% เมื่อเทียบกับปีก่อน”
นางยุถิกา อิศรางกูร ณ อยุธยา รองปลัดกระทรวงวัฒนธรรม กล่าวว่าเทศกาลตรุษจีนปีนี้มีความพิเศษเป็นอย่างยิ่ง เนื่องจากเป็นการเฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 50 ปีแห่งความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย-จีน ซึ่งเป็นโอกาสอันดีในการสานสัมพันธ์และส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในทุกมิติ โดยเฉพาะด้านวัฒนธรรม กระทรวงวัฒนธรรมจึงร่วมกับภาคเอกชนจัดงาน “Chubby woman with Dragon & Naga” ตรุษจีนมั่งคั่ง ฉลองสัมพันธ์มั่นคง วาระ 50 ปีสายสัมพันธ์ไทย – จีน ขึ้น เพื่อเป็นการสืบสานมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมอันล้ำค่าของชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีน และแสดงให้เห็นถึงความผูกพันอันแนบแน่นระหว่างสองประเทศ และอีกวาระสำคัญคือองค์การยูเนสโกได้ประกาศยกย่องให้เทศกาลตรุษจีนเป็นมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมที่จับต้องไม่ได้ของมนุษยชาติ สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความสำคัญของเทศกาลนี้ในระดับสากล ดังนั้น ความร่วมมือกันในทุกภาคส่วนจึงเป็นการแสดงให้เห็นถึงความร่วมมืออันดีระหว่างภาครัฐและเอกชนในการส่งเสริมภาพลักษณ์ที่ดีของประเทศไทยในสายตานานาชาติ และสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรมและความเข้มแข็งของสังคมไทย ซึ่งจะช่วยส่งเสริมภาพลักษณ์ที่ดีของประเทศในระดับนานาชาติ
นายไพรัชช์ ทุมเสน ผู้อำนวยการกองสร้างสรรค์กิจกรรม ฝ่ายกิจกรรม การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทยกล่าวว่า ททท. มุ่งมั่นขับเคลื่อนประเทศไทยสู่การเป็นจุดหมายปลายทางระดับโลก (World Class Destination) และพร้อมให้ความร่วมมือกับภาคเอกชนจัดกิจกรรมทางการตลาด เพื่อกระตุ้นบรรยากาศการเดินทาง ในช่วงปลายเดือนมกราคมศกนี้ซึ่งตรงกับวันตรุษจีน เทศกาลสำคัญที่จะดึงนักท่องเที่ยวชาวจีนเดินทางมาประเทศไทย โดย ททท. ใช้โอกาสนี้ในการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรม นำเสนอประสบการณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับประเพณีและวัฒนธรรมจีนในประเทศไทย ส่งผลให้เกิดการจับจ่ายใช้สอยและกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจต่อเนื่องจากช่วงเทศกาลปีใหม่ที่ผ่านมา
โดยความสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือด้านการท่องเที่ยวระหว่างไทย-จีน ในปีนี้ ททท. พร้อมขยายฐานนักท่องเที่ยวกลุ่มใหม่ที่มีศักยภาพการใช้จ่าย เน้นย้ำถึงความปลอดภัยในไทยให้ชาวจีนมั่นใจ สนับสนุนความสัมพันธ์อันดีในโอกาสเป็นปีเฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 50 ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย-จีน ซึ่งจะเป็นรากฐานที่แข็งแกร่งในการพัฒนาความร่วมมือระหว่างสองประเทศที่ยั่งยืนในอนาคต ไอคอนสยาม ทุ่มงบจัดใหญ่ตรุษจีนปี 2025 พร้อมเสิร์ฟไฮไลต์สุดพิเศษ “ตรุษจีนมั่งคั่ง ฉลองสัมพันธ์มั่นคง วาระ 50 ปีสายสัมพันธ์ไทย – จีน”
