พันโท หนุน ศันสนาคม ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานสลากกินแบ่งรัฐบาล (GLO) เปิดเผยว่า ตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมา สำนักงานสลากฯ ยึดมั่นในการมีส่วนร่วมพัฒนาสังคมอย่างต่อเนื่องและยั่งยืน โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในการส่งเสริมด้านการศึกษาของเยาวชนไทย ที่สอดคล้องกับแนวนโยบายพัฒนาประเทศในช่วงระยะ 20 ปี (พ.ศ. 2561-2580) ภายใต้ยุทธศาสตร์ชาติด้านการสร้างโอกาสและความเสมอภาค ทางสังคม รวมทั้งดำเนินงานให้เป็นไปตามวิสัยทัศน์ “องค์กรสลากมุ่งเน้นนวัตกรรม ส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจ สังคม เป็นที่ยอมรับของประชาชน”
ในปี 2567 สำนักงานสลากฯ ได้สนับสนุนงบประมาณเพื่อส่งเสริมและพัฒนาโรงเรียนสลากกินแบ่งสงเคราะห์ สำหรับใช้ดำเนินการจัดหาและติดตั้งระบบพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ (โซล่าเซลล์) ให้กับโรงเรียน ในโครงการจำนวน 77 แห่งทั่วประเทศ โดยเล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญในการอนุรักษ์พลังงาน และสร้างความตระหนักรู้ในการใช้พลังงานอย่างมีคุณค่าให้กับเยาวชน ด้วยโซล่าเซลล์ที่เป็นพลังงานสะอาดมาจากแสงอาทิตย์ ขณะเดียวกันยังช่วยลดค่าใช้จ่ายค่าไฟฟ้า และสร้างประโยชน์กับโรงเรียนอย่างยั่งยืนอีกด้วย
“สำนักงานสลากฯ เชื่อว่าโครงการนี้ จะช่วยส่งเสริมให้เกิดความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม ผ่านการลงมือปฏิบัติด้วยการใช้เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมที่เหมาะสม ทำให้เกิดบรรยากาศที่เอื้อต่อการเรียนรู้ และเมื่อเยาวชนเกิดกระบวนการเรียนรู้ในการผลิต และการใช้พลังงานได้ด้วยตนเอง ก็จะเห็นถึงคุณค่า และ เกิดจิตสำนึกที่ดีในการดูแลสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืนร่วมกัน” พันโท หนุน กล่าว
สำหรับแผนการติดตั้งระบบโซล่าเซลล์แก่โรงเรียนสลากกินแบ่งสงเคราะห์ทั้ง 77 แห่งนี้ จะเริ่มดำเนินการติดตั้งกระจายไยังโรงเรียนในโครงการฯทั่วทุกภาค ตั้งแต่เดือนกรกฎาคม-กันยายน 2567 เป็นชุดโซล่าเซลล์ขนาดไม่น้อยกว่า 5 กิโลวัตต์ที่ได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐาน ทั้งนี้ สามารถติดตามข่าวสารได้ที่เว็บไซต์ www.glo.or.th และ Facebook Fanpage : สำนักงานสลากกินแบ่งรัฐบาล
