Pruksa’s precast system uses machinery technology from Germany and has been studied and tested in collaboration with structural engineering experts from the Asian Institute of Technology ( AIT ). To study the earthquake resistance capability of the joint system of precast concrete bearing walls by testing in a 2-story house located in Bangkok. The tests were conducted on real pieces and three earthquake simulations were conducted in the laboratory, along with analysis using structural software. It was found that Pruksa bearing walls were able to withstand earthquakes very well, without cracking like ordinary brick walls, even under severe earthquakes. They were able to withstand earthquakes according to the designed standards.
